Mission Statement CHD Families is a volunteer-run organization focused on family support.
Impact Statement
“Blankets from the Heart” is a project sponsored by the Congenital Heart Defect Families Association. The project provides cheerful, 100% cotton blankets to children undergoing cardiac procedures. 

“Care Packages from the Heart” provide care packages to inpatient families at the local children’s hospital. Support items include toiletries, toys, literature, snacks or meal cards. They also contain a blanket from the heart.

"Camp Systole" is a free medically supervised summer camp for kids with a heart defect in the Kansas/Mo area.
Needs Statement Our current needs include handmade blankets, toiletries, and other items for our care packages.
