How long will it take for me to receive my Giving Cards?
Your cards will be processed within five business days and they will be mailed to the shipping address you provide.
Can I purchase a Giving Card using my donor advised fund?
Yes. The entire amount (your Giving Card and the service fee) may be deducted from your fund at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. However, you are not eligible for a separate tax deduction when you use your fund for the Giving Card program.
Do I get a tax deduction when I purchase Giving Cards?
Yes! The purchaser of the Giving Card will receive a tax deduction for the full amount, including the service fee.
When does my Charity Giving Card expire?
Each card expires 12 months after the date of issuance. The date of issuance is written on the back of each card.
What happens to the Charity Giving Cards that are not redeemed?
Dollars not redeemed by the Giving Card recipient will be granted by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation to improve our region's quality of life.
Can I buy a bulk order of cards for my employees or clients?
