Johnson County Library Foundation
The mission of the Johnson County Library Foundation is to build an endowment for the Library’s collection and secure private support for key life-long learning programs.
While the county's tax base has grown steadily, adequate funds for a strong library collection and life-long learning programs have not. Today, this community's Library provides the edge of excellence for the community's cultural, educational and economic viability. Private support provided through the Johnson County Library Foundation enables the fulfillment of professional and personal dreams, improving lives, strengthening the business economy, supporting public and private education, and enhancing this community's future. It is the Johnson County Library Foundation's goal to ensure that all 13 Johnson County Libraries have the collection resources, programs and services available FREE to the community. To sustain this Library's excellence, strengthen educational programs, and continue to be one of the best libraries in the nation, private support is needed.
