A Better Way to Give. A Better Kansas City
The
Greater Kansas City Community Foundation’s nonprofit search (previously called DonorEdge) was created to connect donors to the community needs they care about, in-turn helping them to become smarter investors. The database includes more than 650 nonprofit profiles. Each profile contains an overview of the nonprofit, general information (such as contact information and year of incorporation), statements and search criteria (including mission, background and needs statements), a description of their programs, management and governance structures and financials.
We thank the Kansas City nonprofit community for taking the time to provide us with quantitative data! This data gives donors confidence that their financial contributions are being spent wisely and are truly making a difference.
As you review the profiles in nonprofit search, look for the Reviewed by Your Community Foundation icon. We encourage nonprofits to fill out a profile and submit it, along with the organization’s financials, to the Community Foundation for review. The Reviewed icon indicates our staff has verified the information.
